Middlebrook Community News
WOW! What a response. Thank you! Our eyewear bin at the pool was filled 3/4th of the way after the first weekend the pool was open. It was dropped off for the needy after one week. The woman that received the eyewear was surprised at the large amount and very grateful. What hearts we have- or what junk we have in our drawers- maybe both! Either way, you are changing people’s lives. Please continue to bring them in. Check with your hotel while on vacation to see if they have any eyewear that may have been left behind and bring those in too.
Pool Summer Hours!
The pool is open 10am-8:30pm each day. Middlebrook and Brook Forest operate under a reciprocal agreement for the use of the pools. The Middlebrook pool is closed for cleaning on Tuesdays. The Brook Forest pool is closed for cleaning on Thursdays. Pool and diving board rules are posted on the website. Please check them.

Family Fun Night
Saturday, July 12th 6:30-8:30pm at the swimming pool we will be gathering for wild evening with the Poseidon Pool Party Patrol. Bring the whole family!
Adult Pool Party
We loved them so much we’ve asked them to come back. Steel Vibrations will be back August 9th 7:30-9:30pm at the pool. Listening to them reminds us of sitting on a Caribbean beach with a soft breeze blowing… gentle music in the background. Who wouldn’t want to be there? Food and drinks will be provided.
Dive-In Movie
August 16th -Back by popular demand! From 8-10pm we will have our ever popular Dive-In Movie at the pool. Bring your floaties and noodles and prepare for a great time. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Escape School
Everyone is invited! August 21st at 8pm will be our first ever Escape School on the big screen at the park. This is an entertaining, non-threatening exposure to ways of preventing abduction. It empowers children and parents by providing them with ways to recognize, avoid or escape potentially dangerous situations. Scouts will earn a patch by attending. It is appropriate for all ages. A sensitive 6 year old little girl left the program saying that she had fun. Pre teens and Teens can be at a greater risk than small children, though, because they are more often away from their parents. The program has been featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," "Good Morning America," and in “Parents" magazine. For more information check our website or go to http://www.escapeschool.com/esAbout.shtml. It is highly recommended by many parents.
